Well the fall salmon fishing has been less than stellar, but the catching has been good. That is to say despite an unusually small run size the low clear water this week made it easier to nail good numbers of fish. We got three 9 to 12 pound Coho yesterday and a bright 35-pound king, in the sunshine, only boat on the river. The day before we managed 10 chrome bright Coho to the boat with six nice hatchery keepers. There are a lot of big sea runs in the river eating the October caddis. I wish some one wanted to book me to go upriver to catch some. Good fishing Jim
